The Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame keeps weight low and strength high. It offers 130mm of travel at the rear, paired with the RockShox Recon Silver suspension fork up front supplying 140mm of travel – perfect for attacking the trails with confidence and control! Trek’s Mino Link system allows for simple and easy fine-tuning of the head angle to suit different riding: slacker for more stability, steeper for faster handling. Made for pushing the limits, features like the Knock Block headset/stem and downtube guard keep the frame protected if you take a tumble!
Fitted with Shimano’s 12-speed Deore drivetrain, shifting is smooth, fast and reliable, and the 1x setup keeps things simple with more than enough range to navigate steep inclines or speedy descents. MT200 hydraulic disc brakes are suitably powerful, and the addition of a TranzX dropper post is ideal for technical trail riding. Chunky 29x2.60” XR4 Comp tyres from Bontrager offer grip for days without sacrificing speed on smoother singletrack.
