Kickstart your journey into the world of cross-country mountain biking with the Trek X-Caliber 7. The lightweight aluminium hardtail frame borrows tried-and-tested XC geometry from Trek’s competition-level bikes, and includes features such as dropper-post and internal cable routing, tapered head tube and Boost spacing to allow for upgrading as your mountain biking career progresses.
Up front, the plush air-sprung Rockshox fork can be finely tuned to perfectly suit the rider, maintaining control on the trail, and includes a lockout for maximum efficiency on smooth sections and climbs. Trek’s Smart Wheel Sizing system selects either 27.5 or 29” wheels dependent on frame size, creating the fastest, best-handling combination for you. At the business end, Shimano’s 10 speed Deore groupset supplies a brought range of gears in a simple 1x arrangement.
Planning on covering some distance or even bikepacking? The Blendr stem allows for neat accessory mounting, and rack mount eyelets on the frame mean there’s no reason not to load up and head out for days at a time.
