The Trek Slash isn’t your ordinary enduro bike: slack angles and long suspension travel, yet light and lively for punching back up the climbs – the Slash’s track record at the Enduro World Series circuit speaks for itself.

Trek’s Alpha Aluminium frame is lightweight, stiff and robust – well-equipped with fast rolling 29er wheels, 170mm travel up front and 160mm at the rear courtesy of Rockshox, the Slash 8 certainly isn’t short on grip and cushion for those big landings. The rear shock was developed in collaboration between Rockshox and Trek with anti-squat in mind for superior pedalling performance.

Kitted out with SRAM’s GX Eagle 12-speed groupset, shifting is impeccable and the 30 tooth chainring paired with a 10-52 cassette results in a range of gears suitable for any steep or technical climb. SRAM Core R twin-piston brakes provide some serious stopping power with smooth modulation, keeping everything under control on fast descents.
