The Crankbrothers Mallet clipless MTB shoes provide the optimum partner to their ever-popular pedal and cleat system – and they work perfectly well with other two-bolt systems too. After pro-rider feedback, the cleat pocket is longer than usual to allow the pedal to be positioned further towards the heel for stability. It’s also been shaped for easier entry and release while making full use of the cleat position range.

This model, the Mallet Lace, uses a good old-fashioned lace system to keep your feet securely held in place. An elastic loop on the tongue keeps the ends tucked out the way while you’re riding. The sole is stiffened, but not so much as to make walking a drag, and the outsole uses a rubber compound that functions brilliantly against the pedal body and on the trail for those hike-a-bike sections.

Sizing uses a USA last so select size based on UK normal shoe sizing. The range runs true to size so there's no need to size up. They're available in sizes 4 - 13 with half sizes availble from 5.5 - 11.5.

- Can be used with any brand of SPD cleat, simply remove the grey match shim and set up

directly in the match box.
