The Crankbrothers Mallet clipless MTB shoes provide the optimum partner to their ever-popular pedal and cleat system – and they work perfectly well with other two-bolt systems too. After pro-rider feedback, the cleat pocket is longer than usual to allow the pedal to be positioned further towards the heel for stability. It’s also been shaped for easier entry and release while making full use of the cleat position range.

Crankbrothers may be better known for their hardware but their parent company incorporates Fizik, which has a decorated history of making cycling shoes. Plenty of technology and design experience has carried over here, with the Speedlace system and stiffened sole providing excellent retention and power transfer. The mid-friction rubber outsole has been designed to wear slowly while still providing great traction on hike-a-bikes and against the pedal body.

Sizing uses a USA last so select size based on UK normal shoe sizing. The range runs true to size so there's no need to size up. They're available in sizes 4 - 13 with half sizes availble from 5.5 - 11.5.

- Pre-installed crankbrothers match shim and cleat - just adjust and tighten and they're ready

to ride.

- Can be used with any brand of SPD cleat, simply remove the grey match shim and set up

directly in the match box.

  • Directional angled and spaced toe / heel lugs for traction whilst hiking.
  • Ramped toe for walkability.
  • Stiff shank for power transfer when pedalling.
