A reliable hardtail mountain bike with a refreshing price point – the Specialized Rockhopper Elite offers the latest in mountain bike technology without breaking the bank.
The lightweight frame is constructed from Specialized’s A1 aluminium that has been precision butted to be robust and responsive. Taking notes from XC, the Rockhopper’s geometry ensures the bike accelerates fast and remains nimble on technical trails. The star of the show is the air-sprung RockShox Judy suspension fork, enhancing accuracy and improving comfort with up to 100mm of travel that comes configured based on the selected frame size. Internal routing keeps unsightly cables out of the way, and dropper post compatibility means there is room for customisation in the future.
1x drivetrains are the no.1 choice for mountain-bikers and for good reason, providing a wide range of gears without the need for a front derailleur in the quest of optimising drivetrain reliability. The Rockhopper Elite features Shimano’s ever-reliable Deore 10-speed drivetrain for smooth shifting in a 1x configuration, paired with the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes to deliver dependable stopping power whatever the weather.
