The Orbea Avant H40-D is more than just an endurance bike – just as capable of churning out big miles as it is at ripping along on the local chaingang or even mixed-terrain adventures, this is your one bike to do it all.
Utilising Orbea’s advanced hydroforming process and variable thickness tubing, the aluminium frame maximises stiffness and reduces weight without sacrificing durability and comfort. The Avant features a unique kinked top tube design, enhancing compliance at the rear for a smooth ride – paired with a full carbon fork up front, road buzz is kept to a minimum. With endurance in mind, the geometry puts the rider in a sustainable and efficient position, raising the handlebars and reducing reach to decrease pressure on the key contact points.
Fitted with a 10-speed Shimano Tiagra drivetrain, shifting is smooth and reliable, providing a wide range of gears suitable for even the steepest of inclines. Mechanical disc brakes are plenty powerful and are easy to maintain, and with plenty of frame clearance the Avant H40-D can even accommodate up to 35mm tyres!
