New for 2022, the Roscoe range has been completely overhauled with a heap of tweaks and upgrades to cement its place as a performance MTB: 29er wheels, increased suspension travel, shortened chainstays and a slackened headtube – this bike holds its own against high-end hardtails, but won’t cost you the Earth. The Alpha Gold Aluminium frame prioritises stiffness to weight, without compromising on durability so you can push the limits with full confidence. Keeping the setup clean, cables for the rear mech and dropper seatpost are internally routed for minimal clutter. Equipped with the RockShox 35 Gold RL suspension fork, the Roscoe 8 is right at home on even the gnarliest of trails, taking boulders and roots in its stride for reliable tracking through technical passages. Chunky 29x2.60” Bontrager XR4 tyres offer plenty of grip, ideal for tackling dusty berms or boggy singletrack. Decked out with the 1x12-speed SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain, shifting is smooth and precise, reliable even in the worst of conditions – Shimano MT4100 hydraulic disc brakes offer plenty of modulation and dependable stopping power. Topped off with a TranzX dropper seatpost, the Roscoe 8 is a trail ready MTB machine.
