Updated for 2022, the popular Dean still provides the same unrivalled value for money that it’s known for. Equally suited as a gravel adventurer or winter utility bike, the Dean wears many hats and offers plenty of performance while it’s at it.
Constructed with hydroformed T6 aluminium tubing, the frame is plenty stiff for that fast-paced rip-around without being harsh on a long day of riding bumpy bridleways. Mounting points are strategically placed around the frame to accommodate all of the extra gear you could ever need, from one-day trips to multi-day adventures. Internal routing keeps the front end clean and keeps the cables away from grit and grime.
Fully equipped with Shimano GRX 2x10-speed, shifting performance is snappy and consistent so you don’t miss a beat. GRX hydraulic disc brakes offer more than enough stopping power with smooth modulation that is just as reliable on dry, dusty trails as in wet and muddy conditions. Schwalbe G-ONE Bite 700x40c tyres top off the spec nicely, offering plenty of grip on loose terrain but keep rolling resistance low for tighter-packed gravel – and they feature rather fetching tan sidewalls, plus points in our eyes.
