The Platinum Service is our ultimate package. We remove all components from the frame, clean and degrease, service the hubs and remove the headset and bottom bracket. The Platinum Service is a great way to catch any issues before they happen.
Our Service charges are not bike specific. However, labour will change depending how cables are routed through the frame. This is why we have two prices for our Platinum Service.
With our Gold and Platinum services, we may need to replace cables and brake pads. We call these perishable parts and tend to replace them without calling you. This could add an extra £60.00 to the service charge. However, if you have a road bike, we might have to replace the bar tape too.
If we replace more than perishable parts, we will call with a quote before servicing your bike.
Please let us know when dropping off your bike if you would like the replaced parts returned. Otherwise, they will be thrown away or recycled where possible.
We strive to complete the Service or Repair on the day your bike is booked in. Sometimes we have to order parts which we do not stock. This will add an extra day or two before you bike is ready. We will also let you know if this is the case.
We ask that you are contactable through the day. This can be by phone, text messages, email or WhatsApp, otherwise this could delay the completion of the service or repair.
We ask that your bike is with us by 10:30 am on the morning of the booking. You are also welcome to drop your bike off the evening before.
On collection, we ask you to collect no later than two days after completion.
When dropping your bike off, we ask it arrives in a reasonable condition of cleanliness. If not, you will incur extra labour charges to cover the time to clean it. We may also refuse to accept your bike until it is cleaned!
On top of our regular Service packages, we can repair almost any other part of your bike. We say almost because we cannot repair frame damage!
We charge £60.00 per hour and work to the nearest 10 minutes. The majority of repairs take between 30 to 40 minutes. However, on occasions, like internal cable routing, seized bolts, stubborn sealed bearings or even bent parts can extend these times and increase the labour charge.
These are some of our more popular repairs we carry out:
Our minimum labour charge is £10.
