An Evening Of Bikes: New Store Launch Event
With our new Farnham store now open, we invited everyone to our very first social evening. It was a great chance for those who haven’t visited us yet to have a look around, while getting to check out some cool gear. The evening was an absolute blast – here’s what we got up to!

First off, we’d like to say thank you to everyone who swung by — we’re immensely proud of our new store, and the support you all showed by attending was amazing. While the evening was all about giving you a sneak peek into our new store, it was great just to hang out and talk bikes!
We were joined by some of our favourite brands showcasing their products (complete with test rides!). With gear on show from Whyte Bikes, Time Bikes, Fizik, Muc-Off, Madison, FFWD Wheels, and Wahoo, there was no shortage of cutting-edge kit to feast your eyes on. Plus, we made sure everyone was wined and dined with a selection of snacks and beverages!
With the brand spanking new Wahoo Kickr Move smart trainer in-store, it seemed rude not to do something fun with it so we set up a fun activity for everyone to try: the Zwift 500 metre challenge. It might sound simple, but wait, here comes the real kicker (excuse the pun) – you’ve got to do it blindfolded! Closest to 500 metres at the end of the night wins. While some took it more seriously than others, everyone had a good laugh!
We’re going to miss East St., but our new store already feels like home and we hope you like it too! This new location is more than just a bike shop – our aim is to make Hoops Velo a cycling community hub, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support from our customers over the years. Here’s to many more!
