Cannondale’s hydroformed C2 alloy tubing carefully balances stiffness and compliance to maximise efficiency and ride quality, rather than compromising on one or the other. Paired with their BallisTec carbon fork, weight is kept to a minimum trail chatter and road buzz is held at bay. Mounts are placed on the top tube for extra storage, as well as extra bottle bosses underneath the downtube to make way for larger frame bags. Internal routing keeps cables out of harm’s way and contributes to a cleaner aesthetic.
Shifting is taken care of by Shimano’s high-performance 11-speed GRX drivetrain, delivering fast and precise shifting regardless of conditions. Paired with GRX hydraulic disc brakes for consistent, modulated stopping power and plush WTB Riddler TCS Light 37mm tyres (with clearance for up to 42mm!), the Topstone 1 is more than capable on all kinds of terrain.
